Who are we?

locateanheir.com is the specialist trace unit for WCS Legal Services who are Professional Private investigators operating on a National basis with offices in London, Peterborough, Stoke on Trent and Darlington. Our team are qualified and highly experienced. The companies CEO is a Full Member of The Association of British Investigators.

What do we do?

At locateanheir.com we ask questions to trace people and gain information at a last known address and addresses of family and friends.

We are usually looking for missing people, we also locate beneficiaries in wills and locate missing heirs. We also do some of the ,more routine stuff like locate birth parents in adoption cases, find non paying parents, find missing debtors.

We also provide a verification service to confirm/verify information given on application forms, Tenancy Bonds, Employment references

Am I allowed to tell you this information?

As private investigators we must work under the principles of the data protection act. We should not purport to be someone we are not like pretend to be from your utility company and ask you for personal information about you or another. At the same time if we told you we were looking for someone because they were due a million pounds or they owed money to someone that would also be a breach of the data protection act.

Therefore we can not tell you why we are looking for this person however we only do this work for people who have a legitimate legal reason to be looking for someone.

All data is handled with confidentiality and within the law. If you want to help and give us some information but you want to remain anonymous just request it and we will not record your name on our files

Is there a Reward?

We do not pay any reward for information as this would be unethical however if you are prepared to give your names and in the event of the trace being successful in finding a beneficiary or an heir then we would ask the subject if they wanted to make a bonus payment for people who gave information.
